Our History

Kimbercroft Daycare and Learning Centre is licensed by the Ministry of Ontario Children and Youth Services. We have been dedicated to helping parents and children in the Toronto area since 1969.

Over 40 years ago, there were very few facilities offering childcare in Toronto – when there was a huge demand. Our founder – Aida Crawford, was disappointed with the poor quality and limited programs available to families in Toronto. Her vision was to open an outstanding facility with experienced and loving staff. A place where families would truly feel they were bringing their children to a “home like environment”. And that’s exactly what she did!

Now, through her daughter Yolande McGregor, her original vision and mission still remain at the heart and soul of Kimbercroft today. A facility with the very best staff and somewhere where “learning based play” is our goal each and everyday!
