Our School Age program offers before and afterschool care as well as full day programs on non-instructional days from school such as P.A. Days, March Breaks, Summer Breaks, and Winter Breaks. Our program offers the children access to have help with homework, and activities that pertain to the children’s interests and ideas
Our School Age Program’s primary goal is to support the children’s overall development by offering a variety of age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social interaction, physical fitness, and creativity. The program aims to strike a balance between academic support and recreational opportunities, fostering a well-rounded experience for the children.
Here’s what you can expect from our school-age program:
Homework
assistance
Educators provide guidance and support to children in completing their homework assignments, reinforcing their learning from school and promoting good study habits.
Enrichment
activities
Our School Age Program includes a wide range of enriching activities that promote creativity, exploration, and personal growth. Children have the opportunity to participate in arts and crafts, music and dance, science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEM), outdoor adventures, and sports activities. These activities not only provide an outlet for self-expression but also encourage teamwork, cooperation, and the development of essential motor skills.
Socialization
opportunities
We recognize the importance of social development in school-age children. Our program emphasizes the development of positive social skills and encourages children to interact with their peers in a respectful and inclusive manner. Through group projects, team-building exercises, and collaborative activities, children learn the value of cooperation, empathy, and effective communication.
Outdoor
Play
Physical activity and outdoor play are vital for the overall well-being of school-age children. Our program includes designated outdoor playtime where children can engage in active play, explore nature, and develop their gross motor skills. Physical Development: Physical activity and movement play a crucial role in the growth of young children.
Integrated
Curriculum
Our program integrates various subjects and themes to create meaningful and connected learning experiences. Children explore topics such as science, nature, art, music, and culture through hands-on projects and age-appropriate activities. This approach fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a broader understanding of the world around them.
Parent
Involvement
The program actively involves parts or guardians by providing regular communication, updates on their child’s progress, and opportunities for parental input and participation in program activities.

Each child will receive their own portfolio where parents are able to view bi-weekly observations and documentation highlighting learning that occurred during a play experience or progress on goals set for your child to achieve. Pictures and art work are also placed in your child’s portfolio. A developmental checklist by Looksee is completed according to the child’s age to see if your child is on track with their development and help us focus on creating ways to help your child reach the developmental milestone.
